Privacy notice
This notice describes the data Horizon Marketplace Inc. ("we") collects through data-center-colocation.com. It also covers our purposes, who receives it and the actions you can ask us to take.
What we collect
- Quote requests: a quote request collects your name, company, work email and city. It also asks how much space and power you need, your timing, how long the contract should run and any note you include. Old hardware requests ask what equipment you have, how many pieces and which city.
- Server logs: these hold your IP address, the time, your browser's user agent and the pages you ask for. We keep them so the site runs and stays protected.
- Price answers: when you answer price questions, the tool keeps your latest answers in your browser's local storage. The quote form can then reuse them. We only receive them if you submit the form.
No cookies, no ad trackers and no analytics scripts from outside parties are used on this site.
Our reasons for using it
To pass your request to the businesses that can quote it, to answer you when you write or call, and to keep the site working and safe. Calls to 855-788-3260 may be recorded so the details you give are passed on correctly.
Businesses that get it
A colocation request can go to three data center brokers or colocation providers at most. Old hardware requests reach no more than three firms that dispose of IT assets and destroy data. They may pay us for making the introduction. Hosting and email providers also work for us under contract and process data on our behalf.
California privacy law, and similar laws in a few other states, counts giving your request to a business that pays us as a sale of your data. You can opt out on our Do Not Sell or Share page. We never sell visitor lists for marketing.
Storing it and deleting it
We save quote requests and call recordings for up to 24 months, then delete them. We delete server logs after 90 days at most.
The rights you have
Where you live decides your rights, and states like California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas give you choices. You can ask us what we store about you, fix it, erase it, get a copy, or end any sale or sharing. To make a request, write to support@data-center-colocation.com from the same address you used before. You can also open our Do Not Sell or Share page. Expect our answer inside 45 days. Asking never changes how you're treated. A refusal from us still lets you appeal. Just reply to our answer.
Children
This site serves businesses and isn't aimed at children under 16. Knowingly collecting information from them is something we don't do.
